Acuity Foam protects people, places and things. We produce products used in seating, mattress toppers, exam tables, packaging, gymnasium mats, and more.

Responsibilities

• Produce a variety of hand-cut and assembled parts
• Setup and operate equipment for gluing, fusing, sawing, and assembly
• Read work orders and blueprints to determine processes
• Select and properly handle materials based on Material ID
• Observe equipment operation to detect defects or malfunctions
• Verify parts match blueprints, work orders, and tolerance requirements
• Accurately complete all required production records
• Perform general cleaning maintenance and maintain a safe work area
• Stack, mark, pack, and transport finished work pieces

Requirements

• 3-6 months of assembler or related experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent desired
• Ability to perform basic math including fractions and decimals
• Ability to read a ruler in increments of 1/16” and .06”
• Ability to lift, bend, walk, and stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Visual acuity to determine accuracy and quality of work
• Consistent and timely attendance
