ASP Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise ammunition supply operations, including the receipt, storage, and issue of Class V Materiel
• Manage automated stock record accounts and maintain accountability using the Standard Army Ammunition System (SAAS)
• Direct and manage inventories, conduct research, and process documentation for high-dollar ammunition accounts
• Perform surveillance of operations involving the inspection, maintenance, and demilitarization of ammunition items
• Evaluate personnel performance to ensure compliance with regulations, local policies, and contract requirements
• Monitor quarterly, monthly, and semi-annual inventories of ammunition and missiles
• Analyze and resolve complex automated supply program issues and recommend system improvements
• Coordinate with higher headquarters and local unit customers to plan and advise on automated supply systems

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 5+ years of experience in personnel supervision
• 5+ years of experience in ammunition handling
• 3+ years of experience with the Standard Army Ammunition System (SAAS)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain military operator's permits for required equipment
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
• Ability to work in an ammunition and explosive storage area, including exposure to extreme weather and hazardous chemicals
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs or more and work at heights
