Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with SSMA programs and procedures (inspections, training, meetings, etc.)
• Supervise the implementation of corrective and preventive actions from audits or incident investigations
• Manage technical, operational, and quality activities of the assigned laboratory
• Coordinate with Mine, Geology, and Plant Superintendents regarding service requests and analysis priorities
• Direct personnel through selection, induction, performance evaluation, and training
• Maintain and improve laboratory productivity levels
• Supervise sampling in Concentrator or Process Plants and analysis processes
• Manage consumption of reagents, materials, and petty cash, including controlled chemical inputs
• Ensure the efficiency of the Quality Management System based on ISO 9001 and ISO 17025
• Monitor equipment maintenance and calibration programs
• Implement improvements in analytical processes, testing methods, and operational instructions

Requirements

• Degree and professional license in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Metallurgical Engineering
• 3 years of experience in the sector and 3 years in the specific function
• Certifications in ISO 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
• Specific competence in Atomic Absorption and Volumetry for Polymetallic Mine Laboratories
