Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with quality, food safety, traceability, and cold chain standards during the reception, storage, and dispatch of frozen products.
• Inspect product quality and food safety conditions throughout the operational process.
• Verify temperatures of merchandise, cold rooms, and transport units according to established standards.
• Validate compliance with BPM, HACCP, and food safety procedures within the operation.
• Execute quality controls for packaging, labeling, lot numbers, expiration dates, and physical product state.
• Release or block products based on inspection results.
• Record quality findings and incidents in established formats and systems.
• Manage non-conforming products, quarantines, and reprocessing.
• Coordinate corrective actions with the Operations team when quality deviations are detected.
• Participate in internal, external, and client audits.
• Verify cleaning and sanitization compliance for areas and equipment.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports on quality indicators and incidents.

Requirements

• Technical or University degree in Food Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or related fields.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in food quality control, logistics, or cold chain positions.
• Strong knowledge of BPM (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP.
• Expertise in cold chain management and temperature control.
• Proficiency in food product traceability.
• Basic to intermediate Excel skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in frozen or refrigerated product warehouses.
• Experience using WMS or ERP systems.
