ASIC Verification Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, tests, and verification infrastructure for high-speed clocking logic, covering function, DFT, circuit, power, and physical design constraints
• Comprehend functional, test, and timing modes for clocking RTL to verify modes prior to RTL delivery
• Build verification environments using SV/UVM methodology, including reusable bus functional models, monitors, checkers, and scoreboards
• Collaborate with other verification engineers to provide creative solutions for reusing programming sequences across various verification hierarchies
• Drive coverage-driven verification closure
• Partner with architects, designers, and post-silicon teams to ensure design integrity

Requirements

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of ASIC verification experience
• Experience with Unit, Sub-system, or SOC level verification
• Strong programming skills in Perl, Python, C/C++, Verilog, or SystemVerilog (SV)
• Proven knowledge of industry-standard verification tools for simulation and debug
• Solid understanding of ASIC design and timing principles
• Strong analytical, debugging, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with verification methodologies such as UVM
• Prior knowledge or experience in Clocking, Resets, or DFT verification
• Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Strong teamwork spirit and ability to cooperate effectively with cross-functional members
