About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop test plans, tests, and verification infrastructure for high-speed clocking logic, covering function, DFT, circuit, power, and physical design constraints
- Comprehend functional, test, and timing modes for clocking RTL to verify modes prior to RTL delivery
- Build verification environments using SV/UVM methodology, including reusable bus functional models, monitors, checkers, and scoreboards
- Collaborate with other verification engineers to provide creative solutions for reusing programming sequences across various verification hierarchies
- Drive coverage-driven verification closure
- Partner with architects, designers, and post-silicon teams to ensure design integrity
Requirements
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of ASIC verification experience
- Experience with Unit, Sub-system, or SOC level verification
- Strong programming skills in Perl, Python, C/C++, Verilog, or SystemVerilog (SV)
- Proven knowledge of industry-standard verification tools for simulation and debug
- Solid understanding of ASIC design and timing principles
- Strong analytical, debugging, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with verification methodologies such as UVM
- Prior knowledge or experience in Clocking, Resets, or DFT verification
- Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Strong teamwork spirit and ability to cooperate effectively with cross-functional members
