ASIC Technician

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and deploy ASIC miners including cable layouts for server racks
• Install networked peripheral devices and networking hardware
• Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex ASIC miner issues
• Conduct troubleshooting for research and development efforts
• Perform routine upkeep such as air filter replacement and preventative maintenance
• Maintain accurate inventory of ASIC miners, hash boards, control boards, and network switches
• Provide training and support to staff on ASIC operation
• Assist Site Manager with long-term strategy and capacity planning

Requirements

• Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience
• Ability to perform manual labor in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency operating tools and peripheral accessories
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and OEM guides
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in mining/data center environments
• Ability to climb ladders and access tight spaces

Preferred Qualifications

• A+ certification
• Network+ certification
