About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and implement drivers for hardware peripherals, including those related to AI chips
- Design and implement functional software models to simulate SoC uncore logic to enable FW testing
- Develop low-latency and high-throughput embedded software to manage hardware resources
- Collaborate with software and hardware teams to implement requirements and debug issues
- Work with vendors to integrate technologies within systems
- Perform bring-up and debugging of firmware and drivers on new platforms
- Establish processes, monitoring, integration testing, and diagnostic tools
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in embedded software
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, or Rust
- Experience developing high-throughput, low-latency, and multi-threaded code
- Experience working with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
- Experience developing hardware drivers and working directly with hardware
- Experience with HW/SW co-design
- Knowledge of embedded protocols such as UART, I2C, or SPI
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of microprocessor and ARM architectures (e.g., AMBA)
- Knowledge of PCIe, Ethernet, or other high-bandwidth communication protocols
- Experience with GPUs or other compute hardware
- Experience deploying large compute clusters
