ASIC Engineer 2

Responsibilities

• Define requirements for ASIC design, verification, and physical implementation teams
• Evaluate area, performance, power, and ease-of-implementation trade-offs
• Work with ASIC and system architects to define and document feature sets and data/control flows
• Review and configure 3rd party IPs
• Support product teams with documentation, code reviews, and silicon debug
• Analyze performance of controller components and subsystems
• Suggest improvements and enhancements to the controller architecture

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related field
• Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Perl, Python, C, or Unix shell scripts
• Experience with HDL languages including Verilog, System Verilog, or VHDL
• Expertise in RTL design and verification
• Knowledge of physical design aspects including layout, timing analysis, or power optimization
