ASIC Customer Support Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary project owner and main liaison for key ASIC customers
• Manage the entire lifecycle of customer technical support projects
• Lead the resolution of high-complexity ASIC technical escalations
• Coordinate cross-functional resources including backend engineering, EDA R&D, and foundry interface
• Identify project risks and formulate mitigation plans
• Organize regular technical sync meetings with global customers
• Establish standardized project processes and track KPIs
• Summarize recurring technical problems and organize FAQs and best practice documents
• Assist in pre-sales technical project planning and resource quoting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering, or related majors
• More than 10 years of experience in the semiconductor industry
• In-depth understanding of the full ASIC implementation flow from netlist to GDSII
• Familiarity with mainstream EDA tools and physical design challenges
• Proven track record of managing multiple parallel customer projects
• Excellent cross-departmental coordination skills
• Fluent oral and written English for communication with overseas customers
• Proficiency in project management methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in EDA vendors, IP suppliers, or leading foundries
• Solid ASIC backend physical design background (P&R, timing closure, or PV troubleshooting)
• Experience supporting Data Center ASIC, AI accelerator, or custom silicon programs
• Experience supporting advanced-node (7nm/5nm) chip projects
• Familiarity with Tcl or Python scripting
