ASIC Architect

Responsibilities

• Architect the security subsystem of ASICs for deployment in Meta’s Data Centers and public cloud environments
• Define architectural features including Trusted Execution Environment (TEE), Virtual Device Composition (VDC), and Scalable I/O Virtualization (SIOV)
• Identify appropriate workloads and micro-benchmarks to validate secure ASIC and server hardware operation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including RTL design, Design Verification, Firmware/Software, and Program Management
• Partner with software and firmware teams to ensure end-to-end security goals are met efficiently
• Work with post-silicon verification and new product introduction teams to validate security features for deployment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field
• 6+ years of experience defining and delivering high-performance ASICs into production
• Deep knowledge of computer architecture concepts such as microprocessor architecture, memory systems, and on-chip interconnection networks
• Proven experience with security systems and protocols such as TEE and VDC

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Direct experience with technologies and standards related to ASIC security
