About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain rate relevance and commercial competitiveness across a defined APAC hotel portfolio.
- Conduct regular market and rate monitoring across various rate types including BAR, wholesale, and tactical.
- Proactively engage hotel partners to resolve rate inconsistencies, leakage, and channel conflicts.
- Source and secure tactical rates, flexible offers, inclusions, and value-adds for marketing campaigns.
- Partner with Contract Managers to support supplier negotiations and commercial renewals.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Merchandising, and Product teams to activate hotel content across selling channels.
- Monitor and analyse portfolio performance to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Build strong operational relationships with hotel suppliers to drive content quality and availability.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of commercial experience in travel, hospitality, retail travel, wholesale, or hotel procurement.
- Strong understanding of hotel product sales and what drives customer conversion.
- Proven experience engaging directly with suppliers or commercial partners.
- Confident communicator and negotiator at an operational level.
- Proactive self-starter with strong commercial curiosity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with hotel booking or distribution platforms (e.g., HELiO, Salesforce, HotelHub).
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
