About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conducting background desk research
  • Monitoring press coverage and updating lists
  • Assisting with outreach tasks regarding human rights in the Asia region, with a particular focus on Australia
  • Other projects as assigned based on intern interests

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student
  • Valid work authorization in Australia
  • Strong organizational skills and proactive approach
  • Strong interest in international human rights
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with media or social media
  • Experience with government relations or event planning
  • Experience with Salesforce
