About the role
Responsibilities
- Conducting background desk research
- Monitoring press coverage and updating lists
- Assisting with outreach tasks regarding human rights in the Asia region, with a particular focus on Australia
- Other projects as assigned based on intern interests
Requirements
- Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student
- Valid work authorization in Australia
- Strong organizational skills and proactive approach
- Strong interest in international human rights
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with media or social media
- Experience with government relations or event planning
- Experience with Salesforce
