Aseptic Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist with aseptic filling, lyophilization, and capping procedures in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Monitor manufacturing processes and report any unusual circumstances or events to leadership.
• Perform mechanical set-up procedures and basic repairs, maintenance, and reassembly of major equipment.
• Use scientific measuring devices including scales, pipettes, and calculators to verify fill volumes and specific gravity.
• Document all processes accurately and completely in accordance with SOPs and GMP standards.
• Handle the movement of sterile equipment using established aseptic techniques to ensure sterility.
• Perform routine environmental monitoring and assist with lab cleaning practices.
• Operate fill suites, capping equipment, and lyophilizers independently using SCADA/Micromax systems.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Basic mechanical skills and the ability to perform equipment disassembly/reassembly.
• Proficiency in personal computer usage.
• Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to perform metric conversions and inventory calculations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work 1st shift (4:00am – 12:30pm) and flexibility for overtime, weekends, or holidays.
