Aseptic Technician III

Responsibilities

• Formulate and prepare vaccines by batching antigens and excipients in a clean room or classified area.
• Execute, lead, and troubleshoot aseptic techniques and clean room procedures in compliance with cGMP standards.
• Review, maintain, and edit departmental cGMP documentation, including Batch Records and SOPs.
• Operate and maintain departmental equipment such as scales, mills, homogenizers, pumps, and tanks.
• Stage inventory for blending and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Mentor and train colleagues and provide departmental oversight during shift changes or schedule adjustments.
• Comply with all manufacturing, quality, safety, and financial procedures.

Requirements

• High school education or GED.
• Proven aseptic processing skills and experience with clean room procedures.
• Ability to maintain accurate cGMP documentation.
• Strong mathematical, science, and computer skills.
• Demonstrated teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods, wearing a respirator, and lifting 5 to 25 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-high school education in the Sciences or related disciplines.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or at a Technician II level.
• Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills.
