Aseptic Technician I

Responsibilities

• Execute aseptic filling, lyophilization, and capping tasks in a GMP clean room environment to manufacture vaccines
• Perform clean room gowning and maintain strict aseptic processing techniques
• Set up, operate, and tear down departmental fill line equipment
• Maintain accurate departmental cGMP documentation, including Batch Records and SOPs
• Load freeze dryers to initiate the lyophilization process and apply aluminum seals during capping
• Collaborate effectively with team members and multiple departments to ensure production goals are met
• Comply with all site safety, financial, and regulatory procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Demonstrated aseptic processing skills
• Ability to wear a respirator and don proper PPE, including Tyvek gowns
• Ability to work off-shift (Monday - Friday, 2:00 AM – 10:30 AM) and every third weekend as needed
• Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift 5 to 25 lbs frequently
• Strong communication, teamwork, and mathematical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-high school education in the sciences or a related discipline
• Proficiency with computer systems and scientific documentation
