Aseptic Technician I

Responsibilities

• Execute aseptic techniques and clean room procedures within a GMP facility
• Perform vaccine-related tasks including preparing cell cultures, infecting cells, harvesting cells, blending, and filling
• Maintain accurate departmental cGMP documentation, including Batch Records and SOPs
• Operate and maintain departmental equipment, including setup and teardown
• Comply with all site safety, financial, and manufacturing procedures
• Perform clean room gowning and maintain accurate inventory
• Work effectively in a team environment and communicate across multiple departments

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Demonstrated ability to perform aseptic processing skills in a clean room setting
• Ability to follow strict GMP compliance and manufacturing directions
• Strong teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including standing for long periods, wearing a respirator, and donning proper PPE (Tyvek gown)
• Availability to work the 1st shift weekend schedule (Saturday - Monday, 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM)

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-high school education in the sciences or related disciplines
• Strong mathematical, science, and computer skills
