Aseptic Technician I

Responsibilities

• Execute aseptic techniques and clean room procedures within a GMP facility
• Work with Primary Chicken Embryo Fibroblast cells to prepare, infect, harvest, and blend cell cultures
• Maintain accurate departmental cGMP documentation, including Batch Records and SOPs
• Operate and perform setup/take down of departmental equipment
• Comply with all site safety, financial, and manufacturing procedures
• Perform clean room gowning and maintain accurate inventory
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment and communicate across departments

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Demonstrated aseptic processing skills in a clean room setting
• Ability to perform clean room gowning and wear required PPE, including respirators and Tyvek suits
• Strong teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and lift 5 to 25 lbs frequently
• Ability to work a 1st shift schedule (Tuesday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM) and overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-high school education in the sciences or a related discipline
• Strong mathematical, science, and computer skills
