Aseptic Technician I

Responsibilities

• Execute aseptic filling, lyophilization, and capping tasks in a clean room setting in accordance with cGMP standards.
• Perform clean room gowning and follow strict aseptic processing procedures.
• Set up, operate, and tear down fill line equipment and maintain accurate inventory.
• Load freeze dryers to initiate the lyophilization process and apply aluminum seals during capping.
• Maintain accurate departmental cGMP documentation, including Batch Records and SOPs.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and multiple departments to ensure production goals are met.
• Comply with all site safety procedures and financial protocols.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated aseptic processing skills and ability to work in a clean room environment.
• Ability to wear a respirator and don proper PPE, including Tyvek gowns.
• Strong mathematical, science, and computer skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and lift between 5 to 25 lbs frequently.
• Willingness to work a schedule of Monday - Friday (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) and every third weekend as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-high school education in the sciences or a related discipline.
• Previous experience working in a GMP-regulated manufacturing facility.
