Aseptic Cleaning Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform sanitization duties in the cleanroom while aseptically gowned
• Formulate sterile and non-sterile disinfectant cleaning solutions in Drug Product areas
• Maintain facility and equipment through routine cleaning and sanitization in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Record and complete documentation, including forms and logbooks, in compliance with cGMP and GDP guidelines
• Operate general production equipment such as autoclaves
• Collect and properly dispose of used disinfectant solution waste
• Participate in regularly scheduled group trainings and departmental meetings

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 0-1 year of aseptic gowning, cleanroom, and/or cGMP experience
• Ability to learn proper cleanroom behavior and aseptic technique concepts
• Ability to receive Aseptic Gowning Qualification
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of solution chemistry for mixing chemicals
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Comprehension of QAD, ACE, LIMS, and RAM systems
