Asc Specialist Data Governance

Responsibilities

• Implement and embed enterprise data governance standards within the Global Technology Services business unit.
• Create and refine data governance procedures in alignment with the enterprise roadmap and industry standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data governance resources and mature data ownership and stewardship.
• Support PII, metadata, lineage, data quality, data classification, and sensitive data management.
• Advise on the development of data quality frameworks and measurement standards.
• Lead automation, reporting, and communication efforts regarding data governance and management.
• Strengthen business glossaries, metadata management, and data lineage procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Partner with CXO teams on data classification and security to manage sensitive data.

Requirements

• 10+ years of related data governance experience with increasing scope and complexity.
• Proven experience using Collibra Enterprise Catalog and Collibra Data Quality.
• Strong understanding of Data Privacy and Data Security standards, including GDPR and CCPA.
• Proficiency in SQL and Power BI.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and Snowflake.
• Ability to work independently on complex projects and manage multiple parallel priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power Automate and AI technologies.
• Prior experience with RDARR and BCBS 239.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience scaling data governance across large, geographically dispersed organizations.
