Asbestos Consultant

Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough asbestos surveys in accordance with HSE guidelines and regulations
• Identifying and sampling suspected asbestos-containing materials
• Recording accurate and detailed survey findings using digital or paper-based systems
• Assessing the condition and risk of identified asbestos materials
• Providing clear and concise reports to clients, including recommendations for management or removal
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of asbestos legislation, industry standards, and best practices
• Adhering to health and safety protocols at all times
• Communicating effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders

Requirements

• Certification or qualification in asbestos surveying P403, P404 certification or RSPH equivalent
• Proven experience as an Asbestos Surveyor
• Strong knowledge of asbestos-related legislation, regulations, and guidelines
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proficient computer skills including survey software and Microsoft Office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel
