Asbestos Consultant

Responsibilities

• Carry out asbestos surveys at client sites, including safe sampling of suspect materials
• Accurately record findings in line with job instructions and internal procedures
• Assess identified asbestos risks and provide recommendations on removal or management
• Offer ongoing advice to support client compliance
• Work collaboratively with clients and internal project teams
• Contribute to quality assurance activities, including audits and corrective actions

Requirements

• Certification or qualification in asbestos surveying (e.g., BOHS P402)
• Proven experience as an Asbestos Surveyor
• Strong knowledge of asbestos-related legislation, regulations, and guidelines
• Excellent attention to detail for recording and documenting findings
• Proficient computer skills, including survey software and Microsoft Office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to various sites
