Arts & Crafts Instructor

Responsibilities

• Actively engage and motivate students during art lessons and activities
• Develop and implement an age-appropriate art curriculum for Kindergarten through 5th grade
• Work with various art mediums to create engaging projects
• Collaborate with administration to manage student progress and behavioral expectations
• Utilize digital platforms for administrative tasks like attendance and incident reports
• Maintain and promote student organization of art materials and supplies
• Foster a vibrant, inclusive, and fun learning environment

Requirements

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field
• Teaching experience, preferably with elementary-level students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate young learners
• Punctuality and reliability
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in curriculum development
• At least 1 year of teaching experience
• Strong background in various art mediums, specifically clay making
