Artist/Painter

Responsibilities

• Carry out surface preparation including rust removal, cleaning, spot repair, putty work, and sanding
• Perform paint mixing and application on various materials such as attraction ride areas, show sets, figures, ride vehicles, props, and Disney characters
• Participate in large-scale overhaul paint projects as well as daily maintenance and inspection work
• Maintain workspace housekeeping and timely reporting of work progress to supervisors

Requirements

• Certificate in Design, Visual Arts, Fine Art, or a recognized apprenticeship in painting
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in painting or a related field
• Ability to work shift duties
• Ability to work at height

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in color matching, brush and roll, spray painting, or decorative painting
• Experience in automotive bodywork
