About the role
Responsibilities
- Support artistic programming and financial operations for Miller Theatre, including managing budgets, payments, and procurement.
- Manage complex artist travel and lodging arrangements, ensuring compliance with University policy.
- Oversee the timely processing of artist fee payments, departmental invoices, and consultant contracts.
- Coordinate visa applications and arrangements in collaboration with the International Students and Scholars Office.
- Maintain season records, artist databases, and reporting for commissions and world premieres.
- Attend production meetings, performances, and special events as required.
- Perform office security duties, including opening and locking the venue.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of related professional experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 20 lbs and climb stairs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods while staffing events and performances.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Related experience in classical music and financial management.
- Experience with financial database applications.
