Artist Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 2D/3D artists, illustrators, animators, or designers
• Translate project requirements and creative briefs into actionable tasks for the team
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality visual assets while maintaining brand consistency
• Provide regular feedback and art direction to help team members meet quality standards
• Collaborate with Art Directors, Producers, and other departments to ensure visual alignment
• Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and evaluating the performance of artists
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
• Support the creation of style guides, asset libraries, and best practice documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Animation, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in an artist role
• 1-2 years of experience in a leadership or management capacity
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in concept art, character design, or 3D modeling
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Blender, Maya, or ZBrush
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
