Responsibilities
- Provide weekly applied viola lessons onsite at the Chicago College of Performing Arts (CCPA)
- Instruct students across various undergraduate and graduate degree programs, including Bachelor of Music, Master of Music, and various Performance Diplomas
- Maintain a documented record of consistent professional experience as both a performer and teacher
- Commit to robust student recruitment efforts to support program growth
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (significant teaching and/or performing experience may be considered in lieu of degrees)
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
- Documented professional performing experience and visibility
- Commitment to student recruitment
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Experience in collegiate-level teaching
- Excellent interpersonal skills
