Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design architectures for AI-powered research applications leveraging Generative AI capabilities, including RAG, agentic workflows, and model fine-tuning
• Partner with investors to translate open-ended research questions into feasible AI-driven product concepts
• Lead the full development lifecycle from Proof of Concept (POC) to MVP and production-grade deployment
• Own the end-to-end user experience for investor-facing research applications, including intuitive front-end UI designs
• Evaluate emerging models and APIs while defining best practices for prompt engineering, safety, and reliability
• Implement monitoring, observability, and evaluation frameworks to ensure the quality of GenAI-powered applications

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience delivering ML, AI, and data-intensive systems
• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI systems, including LLM workflows, RAG pipelines, embeddings, and vector search
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience working with major cloud platforms
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to collaborate directly with senior investment partners

Preferred Qualifications

• Domain experience building research applications for investment management or financial services
• Proficiency in front-end or full-stack development
• Experience with open-source language models and staying current with generative AI developments
• Understanding of various investment strategies and asset classes
