About the role
Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for concept and art/design development across various projects
- Act as a direct liaison between creative and junior/mid-level account team members
- Ensure work adheres to FDA regulations and pharmaceutical promotion requirements
- Lead and elevate design/art direction across the team
- Monitor workload of direct reports to ensure quality and timelines are met
- Present and defend creative work internally and externally
- Distill complex scientific information into compelling data visualizations
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in art direction or design
- Mandatory experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Proficiency in multichannel creative development
- Strong conceptual skills and ability to lead art direction across various channels
- Ability to provide constructive feedback to junior creatives
- Knowledge of accessibility best practices
- Experience with launches and label updates
Preferred Qualifications
- HCP and DTC experience
- Interest in leveraging emerging AI tools for creative work
