About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct biweekly individual "conferences" with students to guide them through semester-long independent research projects.
  • Support the development of undergraduate research, writing, and analytical skills through a unique pedagogical approach.

Requirements

  • ABD or Ph.D. in Art History or a related interdisciplinary field.
  • Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
  • Authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship is not available).
  • Ability to teach in person on campus for the duration of the contract.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching within a liberal arts framework.
  • Ability to connect course topics to area museum collections.
