About the role

Responsibilities

  • Teach two courses during the 2026-2027 academic year (one in the fall and one in the spring)
  • Deliver one lecture course in the history of global architecture
  • Lead one seminar on a focused topic of the candidate's choosing within global architecture
  • Facilitate "group conferences" for lecture courses to support student learning
  • Conduct biweekly individual "conferences" with seminar students to guide independent research projects
  • Support the development of undergraduate research, writing, and analytical skills

Requirements

  • ABD or Ph.D. in Art History or a related interdisciplinary program
  • Prior teaching experience
  • Authorized to work in the United States (sponsorship is not available)
  • Ability to teach in person on campus for the duration of the contract
