Art History - Guest Faculty Position in History of Architecture

ABD or Ph.D. in Art History or related field, Prior teaching experience, Authorized to work in the United States
About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach two courses during the 2026-2027 academic year (one in the fall and one in the spring)
- Deliver one lecture course in the history of global architecture
- Lead one seminar on a focused topic of the candidate's choosing within global architecture
- Facilitate "group conferences" for lecture courses to support student learning
- Conduct biweekly individual "conferences" with seminar students to guide independent research projects
- Support the development of undergraduate research, writing, and analytical skills
Requirements
- ABD or Ph.D. in Art History or a related interdisciplinary program
- Prior teaching experience
- Authorized to work in the United States (sponsorship is not available)
- Ability to teach in person on campus for the duration of the contract
