Responsibilities
- Oversee the art department by hiring, training, assigning, scheduling, and mentoring staff
- Establish art department standards for production, productivity, quality, and client service
- Ensure team adheres to current processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Align team priorities with business objectives to deliver high-quality work on time and on budget
- Develop presentation approaches, styles, and techniques for the team
- Analyze market trends, consumer needs, and the competitor landscape
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in fine art, graphic design, or similar
- 8+ years of professional experience in graphic design
- 4+ years in a management role or as an Art Director
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud
- Exceptional skills in typography, layout, and prototyping
- Experience in web development
- Knowledge of photography and video production
