Art Director

Responsibilities

• Ideate, design, and produce world-class design solutions (static and motion) for various deliverables including presentations, branding, and signage
• Steward designers through large-scale projects, providing art direction and guidance on creative strategy and localization
• Work across physical and digital mediums to create immersive storytelling that brings Stripe’s brand to life
• Collaborate with copywriters, motion designers, and marketers to create visionary concepts for a global audience
• Mentor designers in best practices and ideation to foster professional growth
• Implement process optimization initiatives through automation and AI integration to enhance efficiency

Requirements

• 6 to 10 years of relevant design and art direction experience, specifically for technical and product-driven companies
• Proven ability to manage a team of 3-4 creative designers
• Proficiency in Figma, Canva, and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (for both motion and statics)
• Strong track record of independently delivering work and influencing internal teams
• Ability to work flexible hours to facilitate real-time collaboration with global stakeholders
• Highly detail-oriented with a drive for pixel-perfect execution

Preferred Qualifications

• Multidisciplinary creative comfortable working across different mediums and experimenting with new technologies
• Prior people management experience with a track record of hiring and developing design talent
• Experience facilitating stakeholders to advance projects and advocate for design quality
