Art Director

Responsibilities

• Lead the visual evolution of the brand by driving creative vision across campaigns, e-commerce, social, and marketing content
• Support the development and execution of product launches, brand campaigns, and seasonal initiatives
• Partner with senior leadership to shape campaign narratives and creative strategy from concept to rollout
• Collaborate with Studio Operations and producers to manage casting, styling, set direction, and post-production
• Guide and mentor a team of designers, content creators, and stylists to ensure brand consistency
• Oversee the evolution of Fashion Nova’s visual identity and maintain brand guidelines across all platforms
• Review and provide feedback on all outbound brand visuals, including social, site, paid media, and email assets

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in art direction or visual design within fashion, lifestyle, or eComm brands
• 2–3 years of experience in a team leadership role
• Strong portfolio demonstrating campaign, eComm, social, and digital design work with a fashion-forward point of view
• Experience directing photo and video shoots, including knowledge of casting, styling, and lighting
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Ability to work onsite at our Los Angeles headquarters (Monday–Friday)
