Art Director

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the brand's visual identity, including art direction, photography style, typography, and color across all channels.
• Lead seasonal campaign concepting from mood board through final delivery, partnering with merchandising and marketing teams.
• Art direct on-figure, on-model, and lifestyle photo and video shoots, including casting, location scouting, and styling direction.
• Manage and mentor an in-house creative team of designers, photographers, retouchers, and content producers.
• Collaborate with e-commerce and performance marketing teams to design high-converting assets for PDPs, landing pages, and paid social.
• Partner with the retail team on in-store visuals, signage, and window concepts to ensure a cohesive physical and digital experience.
• Manage external partners, including photographers, agencies, and freelancers, overseeing budgets and timelines.

Requirements

• 7+ years of design and art direction experience, with 2–3 years of creative team leadership experience.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong fashion sensibility, editorial photo direction, and refined layouts.
• Deep experience directing photo and video shoots from pre-production through final delivery.
• Expert command of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma proficiency.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce and performance creative requirements.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide constructive feedback and articulate creative vision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience launching or refreshing a brand identity system.
• Background in retail or in-store visual merchandising.
• Familiarity with Shopify and email platforms like Klaviyo.
• Professional styling experience or an established network of fashion industry creatives.
