About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage all operational functions, budgets, manpower, and resources for Army Aviation maintenance at the designated site
- Direct the accomplishment of site-specific program goals and monitor achievement
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all contract activities, serving as the principal representative for Amentum
- Oversee personnel, finance, training, supply systems, and support services
- Maintain effective relationships with military officials, local government, and business officials
- Ensure compliance with all quality, safety, and environmental standards
- Communicate new requirements, concerns, and operational status to the PMO and corporate management
Requirements
- 10 years of rotary wing Aviation Maintenance experience (specifically UH-60, AH-64, or CH-47)
- 5 years of supervisory experience
- 5 years of US Army rotary wing aviation maintenance experience
- 2 years of US Army aviation maintenance supervisory experience
- US Citizenship (required for Public Trust security clearance and base access)
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to travel up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid FAA A&P certificate
- Working knowledge of OSHA requirements
