Army Aviation Program Quality Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) for the Army Aviation Program.
• Ensure compliance with AS 9110 standards and all contractual requirements.
• Act as the single point of contact for AS 9110 standards qualification and participate in internal, external, and third-party audits.
• Conduct process auditing, manage corrective action requests (CAR), and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop, publish, and review standard operating procedures based on AR 95-20 and contract documents.
• Analyze program data to establish trends, meet KPIs, and implement necessary corrective actions.
• Lead and collaborate with site and regional Quality Managers to maintain program-wide compliance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• 5 years of experience in quality assurance, including compliance with AS 9100/9110 or ISO 9001 standards.
• 2 years of experience planning and leading quality assurance audits.
• 3 years of supervisory experience.
• 5 years of aviation or aircraft maintenance experience.
• US Citizenship is required for facility credentials and authorization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience establishing or managing FOE/FOD programs.
• Experience establishing key performance metrics.
• Certified Lead Auditor experience.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and other quality methodologies.
