Requirements
Active Secret security clearance, 6-months experience in Law Enforcement, Department of Corrections, Security, or US Armed Forces, Ability to pass annual Physical fitness evaluation test, Proficiency in weapon systems
About the role
Responsibilities
- Control facility access by monitoring surveillance equipment and inspecting vehicles
- Ensure all personnel entering the base possess proper identification
- Respond to situations using appropriate escalation of force levels in accordance with established policy
- Respond to incidents including fire, medical emergencies, bomb threats, and hazardous materials
- Observe and report suspicious activity or incidents
- Maintain proficiency and safety in the use of all assigned equipment, control devices, and weapon systems
- Attend 40 hours of annual In-Service Training
Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in Law Enforcement, Department of Corrections, Security, or the US Armed Forces
- Proficiency in weapon systems
- Ability to pass an annual physical fitness evaluation test
