Armed Security Officer - Overnight Driver

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public by following security procedures and site-specific policies at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, vehicle permits, and visitor authorizations.
• Maintain readiness of assigned duty equipment and adhere to all weapon handling and reporting requirements.
• Document observations and notify appropriate personnel regarding security-related concerns.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Military Police, Corrections, or Armed Security, or be a Certified Law Enforcement Graduate.
• Valid Armed Guard Card/License.
• Valid driver's license in accordance with company policy.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen.
