Armed Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Manage guest and visitor access
• Eject trespassers or violators from the premises
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals and vehicles
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
• Patrol interior and exterior perimeters to identify safety and security risks

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent
• One year of prior security background
• Possession of a 9mm firearm and a level 3 holster
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening
• Physical ability to crawl, crouch, climb stairs, kneel, run, sit, stand, stoop, and walk for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Class A Patrol Kansas City Security License
