Armed Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials, and report suspicious behavior or potential hazards.
• Support public-facing operations by providing directions and assisting with crowd and traffic control.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1+ years of previous related security experience.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen.
