Armed Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm and professional manner following armed post orders
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and movement to support authorized access and policy compliance
• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and the public by following site-specific procedures and access protocols
• Complete required reports and documentation regarding incidents, observations, and patrol activity

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license (required for driving positions)
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen
• Willingness to participate in industry-specific security training programs

Preferred Qualifications

• Possession of an armed guard card or relevant license
