Armed Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Screen employees, guests, and deliveries at designated access points by checking credentials and monitoring entry activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor lobbies, entrances, and assigned areas to deter unauthorized access and suspicious activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business perimeter to identify maintenance concerns or unsecured areas.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Valid armed guard card and/or license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service.
