Armed Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors by following site-specific policies and front desk protocols.
• Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification, and manage authorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Answer phones, direct guests, and maintain accurate visitor logs and arrival records.
• Observe the front desk area for unusual activity and report concerns promptly to deter disruptions.

Requirements

• Level III Armed Guard Card (Texas).
• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge systems.
• Proficiency using a computer or tablet.
• Previous customer service experience.
