Psira Grade C, Grade 11/12, Valid Driver's license, Firearm Competency, Armed Response Certificate, SASSETA/PFTC results, Armed Response experience
About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure quick and appropriate response to clients emergency calls
- Ensure visibility at standoff points and during area patrols
- Handle client complaints efficiently and follow up after incidents
- Check premises thoroughly to ensure client safety
- Submit comprehensive reports and feedback as requested
- Complete daily, weekly, and checklist tasks
- Perform public relations services and introduction calls to new clients
- Maintain a neat and tidy vehicle
Requirements
- Minimum Psira Grade C (Renewed)
- Grade 11 or 12
- Valid driver's license
- Firearm Competency (Handgun, Shotgun, and Carbine Rifle)
- Armed Response Certificate
- Statement of Results for firearms training (SASSETA/PFTC)
- Experience working as an Armed Response Officer
- Ability to undergo fitness and firearm proficiency assessments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- No criminal record
- Must reside in Strand, Somerset West, or Stellenbosch areas
