Armed Law Enforcement Officer- Driver Patrol

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout terminals, public areas, restricted areas, roadways, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor access points and credential-controlled areas to verify authorized entry and report suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Support incident response through crowd management and directing foot and vehicle traffic.
• Document observations and communicate effectively with site contacts and public agencies.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience in the U.S.
• Graduate of a certified law enforcement academy (Federal, State, or County level).
• Possession of a valid Peace Officer Certificate.
• Valid Driver's License.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 22 years of age.
• Ability to pass a background investigation, drug screen, and physical examination.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a government transportation or airport environment.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and render immediate decisions under stressful conditions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
