Area Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of strategic accounts to optimize profitability, cash flow, and receivables
• Generate new business leads and implement sales and marketing strategies to support account growth
• Analyze sales results against goals and budgets, providing corrective action plans when necessary
• Act as a technical advisor by recommending optimal lubricants and equipment to meet customer criteria
• Maintain professional relationships with clients through regular site visits and prompt inquiry responses
• Prepare and present marketing strategies, progress reports, and sales forecasts to management
• Monitor industry trends, competitor pricing, and new product developments

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in sales or a related field preferred)
• At least 3 years of experience in sales or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
• Valid driver's license
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) for effective professional communication

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the lubrication or industrial products industry
• Ability to perform economic analysis for capital expenditures
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to develop long-term client relationships
