About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of General Industrial Sales Representatives to achieve sales, margin, and gallon growth goals.
  • Coach and enable Sales Representatives in building healthy pipelines and practicing disciplined opportunity management.
  • Attract, develop, and retain high-performing talent through thoughtful hiring, onboarding, and performance feedback.
  • Drive sales execution by guiding teams in developing high-quality value plans and ensuring consistent follow-through.
  • Facilitate regular pipeline reviews and performance discussions to ensure forecast accuracy and transparency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Supply, and Technical Service to support customer execution.
  • Engage with customers alongside Sales Representatives through joint calls to reinforce value-selling behaviors.

Requirements

  • High School education or equivalent.
  • Sales experience within the paints and coatings industry.
  • Knowledge of the Industrial Painting segment, including manufacturing environments and customer buying processes.
  • Experience with B2B pipeline management and forecasting practices.
  • Proficiency with CRM and reporting systems for opportunity tracking and forecast submission.
  • Experience using standard sales reports, dashboards, and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field.
  • Experience managing sales execution through others, including goal setting and accountability.
  • Experience leading teams in the disciplined use of standard sales systems and workflows.
  • Knowledge of specific metal and plastic coatings, including liquid and powder applications.
