Area Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable growth for the Prime and Scotia Dealer Advantage portfolios by developing new and maintaining existing Dealer and Manufacturer Indirect Retail business.
• Execute marketing and calling programs within the assigned market area to reach business development targets and manage the sales pipeline.
• Deepen client relationships by providing ongoing attention to dealers, ensuring satisfaction and awareness of Scotiabank’s value proposition.
• Educate dealers on Scotiabank’s processes, policies, and best practices to increase efficiency in submitting paperwork.
• Manage day-to-day business controls to ensure adherence to operational risk, regulatory compliance, and AML/ATF requirements.
• Identify and pursue cross-sell opportunities to grow and retain client relationships.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in auto retail sales.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (including data import/export).
• Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to identify and solve problems.
• Ability to work onsite and travel to client sites throughout the week within the Okanagan region.
• Post-secondary education (college or university) or equivalent business experience is preferred.
