About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities and manage existing accounts across various leisure segments
- Act as a brand ambassador for Pullman Cape Town City Centre, Movenpick Windhoek, Mercure Windhoek, and Windhoek International Convention Centre
- Cultivate new commercial relationships and revenue streams within an assigned territory
- Analyze leisure segment performance and negotiate prices to seal contracts
- Participate in tradeshows, conventions, and promotional events
- Achieve targets for new active accounts, room nights, banquet covers, and revenue
- Manage an allocated portfolio to grow revenue and track production
- Maintain up-to-date account development plans and sales contact lists
- Conduct sales trips both domestically and internationally as required
Requirements
- Minimum matric (grade 12)
- Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- In-depth knowledge of sales techniques and customer service principles
- Proficiency in RFP and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Results-oriented mindset and ability to work independently
